He comes out as a crypto bro. Interesting move.
Worldcoin predates the gpt kickass, maybe it’s akin to Elon making rockets and wrecking social startups, but my hunch is this smart human is gonna win on multiple playing fields.

Remember, crypto money is the only money AI can move easily...

First time I've heard anyone say that! It's all coming together baybee, people ain't dumb.
Banks have APIs. Stock exchanges have APIs.
APIs only send banks information and ask them to move money if they choose to. Crypto transactions actually move money permissionlessly. It's obvious which one an AI would prefer.
The Natural Intelligences mostly keep their money in banks, so that's probably what AI will prefer too.
Banks need identity, crypto can work without it, thus making it easier to script money, though this conflicts with Worldcoin's PoV as they want to identify everyone.
That’s probably because he is
How do people with aniridia get their free crypto?

Do we really need another coin? What's wrong with BTC?
It's very useful to be able to guarantee every person only has 1 account. Things like voting and giveaways only work when people can't make 100 accounts out of thin air.
I mean it's in the digital realm. Whats the difference between making 100 fake accounts and 100 real accounts?
For world coin, one can't really do either since an account is tied to your iris-print
And the iris-print is an unfakable process?

Your argument sounds to me like it's impossible to fake a credit card because the number is attached to the card.

"World ID digital identity that proves you are a real and unique person while fully protecting your privacy."

"The Orb checks that an individual is real and is unique, and has not previously received a World ID. It does this by capturing and processing images of an individual and their unique iris pattern. Since no two people have the same iris pattern and these patterns are very hard to fake, the Orb can accurately tell people apart from one another without having to collect any other information about them—not even their name"

We have culturally gone from Woody Allen inspiring awesome ambient electronic music to a dystopian eye scanning shitcoin.

I’m an ophthalmologist. Does anyone know how the iris-scanning technology works? Peoples irises change over the course of their life. Things like eye surgery and UV exposure can hasten this. The cornea can also scar and opacify. How stable is this digital fingerprint?
