With companies like Deel and Remote.com, why do employers only hire remote US?

- Easier to keep similar working hours by default.

- Export restrictions to some countries/territories.

- Simplified payroll, compliance and benefits.

- Contractual obligation for data processing within US which if you have remote employees would violate.

- Less worries about communication styles.

- Easier to do team off sites.

- US jurisdiction as incentive to not violate employment contracts.

- Not beholden to potentially onerous employee protections in other countries.

- Research tax credits for US employees.

All of which you’ll have to figure out how to apply for each place you hire from.
