Hey, just an idea here. Win xp DDK is usable. Patching XP is still possible without MS's involvement. No driver signing. It's not legal but a binary fork of XP can be a thing.
And I sure as heck prefer XP over KDE5 or GNOME<whatever>.
Perhaps there is still hope for those of us not attached to ideolology,corporations or the whims of popular FOSS project leads. Just let the outcome be fabulous.
It is also really fast. But unfortunately it crashes even if you just sneeze (well, a year or two ago ago when I played with it, sorry if this has changed dramatically).
