Ask HN: Recurring financial donations to causes that have demonstrable impact?

I make a ton of contributions on random causes on gofundme but trying to optimize this. Have the usual constraints of time and resources but I figure the least i can do is to help someone somewhere with my modest donations. Any recommendations where you have seen a tangible impact based on your recurring financial contribution or a cause you have aligned yourself to?
