Interest in SQL with IndexedDB and Web Storage in Web Browsers?

I shared my project, GlueSQL, for the first time yesterday night in my time zone, and I was a bit sad to see no reactions. I know that can happen, but there's something I'm really wondering about.

In our newest version, we've added a cool feature. Now you can use SQL in web browsers with in-memory, localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB. Even better, you can make tables in different storages and join them all together. This was a big reason why I started GlueSQL, so I thought lots of people would be interested. But so far, not much response.

Don't people want to use SQL with the storage options that are already in their web browsers? Personally, I think this would be super useful for building complex web front-end applications.

Cool project. I wouldn't worry too much if you aren't getting any feedback from here, especially since your project seems to have some traction on GitHub.

Web apps are typically online (offline web apps haven't been a hit) and are often (most of the time?) multi-user, which means the data is housed centrally (decentralized architectures notwithstanding) because it avoids replication and reconciliation complexity.

Doesn't mean there aren't compelling use cases, but I honestly don't see it enabling something that hasn't been possible before (from an end-user point of view, not technical capability).

While technically cool, I think it is worth asking yourself what is an example app that would be possible that wasn't before or what edge can be provided to existing apps.
