Career Guidance

I am in a confusing place and wonder if this group would provide some light. I have 10 years of experience in tech, ranging from Sales at Dropbox in its Unicorn days to Product Marketing at Apple. I recently left the latter due to a hostile work environment and have found myself in a tough position in finding a new role. My aim is to join (or build) a startup scale it into something incredible, but I am unclear as to how to find the right opportunities or would-be cofounders. My constraint is that I must remain in Los Angeles for family. Any guidance would be appreciated.
