Tell HN: The HBO Max to Max “transition” locked me out of the service completely

I live in Mexico, where HBO Max was available and I purchased a year long subscription.

Then they made this switch, and now the HBO Max only opens to a splash screen telling me to download the Max app:

When I download the Max app, I get a screen telling me it's not available in my region yet:

This whole thing has been so stupid and botched, it makes me really mad. Now I have to contact Apple support and try to cancel my subscription since I cannot access it anymore.
