Weird! Are AI edited MRI scans reliable enough? What if the AI hallucinates instead of clarifying the photo? If the info is not present, how will it be able to recover details?
I've always felt affordable, accessible MRIs would be the next big leap in human health and well-being. Beyond cancer screening, it would also allow more musculoskeletal assessments so many injuries can be properly assessed and treated. The time and cost barriers to MRI access (and resulting insurance issues in US at least) make these assessments limited to only a few. If a kid twists his knee playing a sport, yet does not have such access, the pain can go undiagnosed and untreated - causing them limited function for the rest of their life.

I hope this technology continues to advance according to their plan and beyond - to reduce cost further and to also cover musculoskeletal soft tissues. Perhaps the AI could eventually assist in diagnosis by offering an initial assessment to each patient- which can be cross checked and verified by a physician if the patient chooses.
