I was more likely to buy a Ring camera before they were acquired by Amazon, which already knows a lot about me. I imagine I'd feel the same about my cell phone/data plan, even if the pricing were subsidized.
it'll be a good spam call secondary number to give out instead of my actual main number.
I have a strong suspicion a new Amazon Fire phone is coming. Last Prime day Amazon gave away $10 to any member who downloaded the Amazon Photos app. One has to ask what reason there is for that other than creating a smooth transition to a new mobile phone.
This would be a reason for me to sign up for Prime again after all these years away.

With its current mix, there’s really no value to me. But I pay $20/month for phone so switching to Prime would save me money.

Whether this is any good or not really depends on how much data is included. US Mobile already offers a $5/month plan for 500MB and Mint offers 5GB for $15/month.
