Ask HN: NYC Meetups

Moved from SF in search for a more heterogeneous group of people; it's not perfect but so much better.

Where do some of the real builders and tech players go? I'm lightly against those awkward meetups with just a few tech talks and bites where it's tough to form connections for me. It's silly, but what's the Coupa cafe in NYC, or where can I be immersed around other tech builders, employees, founders etc.
