UFOs existing or not, I do hope the USAF has a program for securing and recovering unknown, alien, foreign, and domestic craft; be they experimental or otherwise.
This could be as simple as 'aliens' are a cover story for crazy secret experimental vehicle programs. Many of us really want to believe we aren't alone, or that the world is as interesting as fiction.
My theory is that we are not alone - at some point throughout the existence of the universe, there has been, is, or will be some form of life on another planet - close to ours or far away from outs.
There probably is some new physics that we don't understand yet. My guess is that it's a matter of chemistry - there's probably a whole bunch of elements that don't exist here on earth, and we don't know what can be done with them. Maybe our visitors do, and that's why they are here, or maybe for some other reason. We'll likely never know the answer.
Is it just me, or is there a huge uptick in the US military trying to make the world believe in aliens? There are many claimed leaks and released documents/video lately.
Ahh the site claims I’m in the European economic area (I’m not) so won’t serve the page. Probably means they are actively hostile to me.
From the headline I’d hope so. If a craft can’t be identified I’d hope the military would retrieve it to identify it. Be that a balloon from China or you helicopter.

I really hope there is some undiscovered physics a which would allow matter to travel faster than light, but that fees a far greater stretch.
The idea that little green men would visit us, and do so repeatedly and clandestinely is sadly (or fortunately) ridiculous.
