Just wondered -- is contact-less finger-print scanning possible?

I know some people have managed to lift fingerprints off high-resolution photographs of hands.

What does it take to scan fingerprints off realtime video? Are the sensors on the Apple Vision Pro that are used for hand gesture tracking -- close to having this power?
