why though? librewolf is head to head with brave so why not prefer that if you don't want to help google impose browser monotony on the internet by forcing even their competition over to chromium?

Because Librewolf is not a mainstream browser. It is a bit more strict in privacy so broken websites is a common occurrence on Librewolf.
