How's the Tech Job Market?
Several months ago, I sent out a hundred applications and got three interviews. Since then, I haven't bothered applying and focused on doing freelance research/writing.
But I have friends who are far better devs than I, and they're having trouble getting a role. So what's the market like? Is hiring at the big companies still frozen? Too much quality competition for too few jobs?

Best of luck :)
Is there one tool to rule them all, or a host for each specialty?
EDIT: I imagine US engineering demand will ramp back up once competition for Canadian engineers gets too fierce or with companies that absolutely demand in-office workers
