Any Suggestions for a Password Manager?

I'm looking for something simple that isn't tied to a specific browser or OS. A mobile app would be a plus, but it's definitely not necessary. I understand that security and convenience are enemies, but a simple, intuitive UI would be great.

We have both Dashlane and RoboForm. RoboForm is somewhat browser agnostic but also requires an internet connection which is a negative in my opinion. Dashlane is also browser agnostic. If Dashlane can connect when offline, even though they moved away from their fat client, I'd say its one of the top three.
Dashlane is closed source, so I don't trust it. It's also too expensive for my needs, when open source, cheaper alternatives like Bitwarden exist, and Bitwarden's pricing is as low as $10.00 per year which is a drop in the ocean.
I've been using KeePassXC and Keepass2Android for many years.
I have been using 1password for the last few years. It’s been rock solid in the Apple ecosystem. I hear there is some issues with 1password 8 but I have stuck to 7 and loved it
I've been on 8 for a little while and it's fine, but then again I never used 7 so I don't know any better.
I have been a long time user and even was risky and ran their betas for a long period of time with out any issues. That being said I personally never had issues with 1Password8 but have heard stories about bad performance etc. I recently started running it on my Windows 10 work laptop and it also performs great. Maybe I lucked out? But it has been a solid product for me, and would highly recommend it.

Free and open source

I can confirm
Not free if you want TOTP.
I find it’s worth paying for, happy paying customer here.
iCloud Keychain also works great and has totp. And password sharing.
It’s not Open Source and limited to the Apple ecosystem though
1Password, in terms of both UX and security expertise and track record. They provide mobile apps with a decent UX that makes use of device capabilities (e.g., biometric authentication) where appropriate, too.
This looks slick, and I don't see a record of a data breach. I'll give it a shot!
I've been a 1Password customer since they launched. The thing I don't like about the latest versions (8 and beyond) is that they no longer give you the option of just storing your database in a local file and then let you worry about how to sync it with other devices. They now for you to use their cloud sync mechanism.

And as much as I respect them and trust them on the side of creating a secure and reliable password manager, I don't trust them to build a secure and reliable cloud system.

So, I'm now looking for something else. However, I'm still looking. I haven't found it yet.

I was using 1pass for ages but then Proton went and released their offering, Proton Pass. I migrated over about a month ago.
I have been using Sticky Password for many years without any issues. Saves me a lot with a lifetime license instead of a typical subscription based service.
I have bitwarden and works fine. We also use 1password at work and I have to say it works really well. So i would choose between those.

Autocompletion might be slightly better in 1password in my experience

Bitwarden supporter here. But I also like iCloud keychain. They have app extensions for browsers too. Not sure about Linux support. And they have totp.

KeypassXC is where I am migrating to next. I cannot rely on any server based Pwdmgr anymore after lastpass.

But every browser based manager needs to get a shoutout. Only if there was a way to sync between vendor browsers, I would be happy.

Personally I use 1Password, totally worth the money in my opinion.
