Ask HN: Would you pay for a code snippet manager? 1 points by zabana 3y ago ↗ HN If so, what sort of features would you expect from one ?
[–] donatj 3y ago ↗ I paid for Dash maybe ten years ago. After my initial fascination I never really found it that useful.https://kapeli.com/dash
[–] wsgeorge 3y ago ↗ To my best understanding of what a code snippet manager will do, no. What value would it offer? [–] zabana 3y ago ↗ I was thinking of snippet management inside an organisation. One use case I thought of was onboarding new team members. You'd be able to refer to pre-written, re-usable code snippets for domain specific use-cases. But maybe it's too "out there".Thanks for the feedback ! [–] grugagag 3y ago ↗ How would that be better than a shared folder with files in it?
