Isn't this the same company that is attempting to sell "software that never fails and can't be hacked" (an impossible claim)? And they're also working on their own competing self driving software, of which it appears to be vaporware currently?
Why would I trust them? If I recall, they were doing some extremely shady stuff in their videos previously.
They do not work on self driving software. That is a complete fabrication peddled by Tesla investors/propagandists/zealots like WholeMarsBlog. It speaks to the reliability of the rest of their claims.
There is nothing shady in any of the videos. Again, complete fabrications peddled by the same Tesla investors/propagandists/zealots. The aspect they all claim as “proof” is that the first TV ad contains footage where FSD was not enabled. The actual raw footage of the tests, supported by driver and cameraperson affidavits, sworn under penalty of perjury, has it enabled in all three crash videos. The footage in the ad was probably just trial run footage spliced into the ad. Again, the raw footage was released and even pro-Tesla news organizations [1] agree it was enabled.
There are a half dozen other videos released afterwards. The only justification for why they are “shady” is that they claim the first one was falsified (which has been proven to be untrue now).
Whatever you may think of the defense industry, Green Hills has decades of experience making software for high stakes environments, like missiles and fighter jets.
