In the face of increasing complexity of web development, I'm curious what tech stacks and libraries you like to use for solo (for fun or profit) data-backed web dev projects and why you prefer them.

Other than familiarity with the tech, what advantages do you experience? Any favorite resources for learning them?

Django + HTMX. Can go from nothing to a deployed web app in a week. zero complexity, unmatched stability, and every boilerplate thing is written for you.

ASP.Net Core MVC deployed on Linux. Has everything + a sweet ORM. Also, WebAssembly support is good and improving.

A PC running Linux or a Mac, a File browser that can connect to NFS, and a Text editor.

A raspberry pi running Linux, Apache and NFS.

Straight up HTML, no CSS, no JavaScript.
