Ask HN: I have a Y2K style bug, 3 to 4 digits, what is the best process to fix?

We have 40 programs that use this, not all programs have testing. We also have a completely unrelated thing due in 2 weeks.

If I don't have time to write tests for everything, run each program, or read all of the code: What would you do?
