Hey, at least Microsoft is finally trying to build a reliable computer. That’s the real headline here.
I thought the Surface was like, the top Windows machine out there for a bit?
Windows has worked perfectly for me since 10. This is with glitch prone stuff like music production, video editing, and gaming. The rare crash is also easy to diagnose with Reliability Monitor. I don't know what people are doing to have so much trouble on modern Windows.

They already have the first working prototype from some time: The Save File dialogue. You know its speed (very slow) but you don't know its direction (virtual folders, cloud). Maybe they shall call it Microsoft Heisenberg OS version 6.62607015×10−34 .
Microsoft already has a quantum computer running their Azure billing platform.
