While i understand the reasoning of Mozilla here, it is partly their fault this is happening.

The normal way to block a domain was through DNS , but Mozilla pushed hard for DNS over Http, completely skipping computer's and admin's DNS config.

Both this and secure DNS are born of the same ideological commitment against censorship. It is not their “fault,” governments aren’t entitled to this and guarding against pushes of this kind is not a blame game.
