When I first shared my e-paper smart display with the HN crowd more than two years ago, one of the main feedback points I got was "that huge bezel".
To cut down the size of the bezel, I first had to learn how to design PCBs. Bad reference diagrams, parts shortages and my day job meant that it took almost two years to get it done.
But I am now happy to announce that the new version of my e-paper display is out now.
The default app is a calendar that you can sync to Google calendar. But in fact, you can point it to any image url on the web. This means you're free to design your own content as well.
I'm also working on opening up the platform to allow others to build and distribute apps for the device. If you're interested in developing something, please email me at info@invisible-computers.com
