Flameshot is basically this, if my memory serves. The new default KDE screenshot tool also has a very robust on-screen dialog for cropping and annotating.

Debian 12 is the first Debian I've ever used to work perfectly on a laptop ootb (Thinkpad AMD T14s).

I've installed it on a ThinkCentre M720q but had multiple issues with networking and Firefox inputs. Gave up and installed Ubuntu 22 LTS as I had to get work done.
