Ask HN: How long do I wait before applying again?

I'm Canadian, about 3 years out of my undergrad degree, and looking for a new job. I think I've applied to every shop in my city without luck. It's getting hard for me to find openings at companies that I haven't applied to yet.

Should I wait before applying to other openings at the companies I've been rejected from, and if so, for how long?
