What does this have to do with TikTok? They don't have anywhere close to the same audience.
I’m guessing what is implied is tencent who owns TikTok also having a significant ownership in Reddit.

The disregard for moderators and community could reflect on an upcoming app based strategy that “doesn’t really rely on moderators” aka tiktok style.

Reddit wants to target "easier" users, like the ones TikTok has. They don't give a shit about api access, privacy or even censorship.
