Endorsement of what? Also doesn't HN share tons of links from paywalled news sites?

The problem is that a lot of news come from Twitter, but also interesting tidbits that people won't otherwise share in a blog post. It's also often used to point out companies doing weird stuff, which tend to be popular on HN.

So, I think maybe Archive or someone else needs to step up and create a way to cache Twitter pages. I don't think it should be a problem, but I can see how it adds another layer of annoyance for having someone cache a tweet every time.
