A single server failure takes down the whole service for 12 to 24 hours? That's... not great.
A downside of a small business: not enough scale to justify high availability.
Agreed. I'd like to get four or five nines rather than merely 99.9% availability. But the first priority is making sure that I don't lose anyone's data.
