For people who can't Braze or Weld, we used to call them a "bitza" made from "bits of this, bits of that"
My first two bikes were bitza's and in the 80s I made a third for my partner so we could tour the Dordogne together. You can't beat riding around Paris on a bike you made yourself with a big straw basket up front. I felt like an extra in a John Paul Belmondo movie.
