I recently encountered a frustrating situation. I was using a food delivery app to order a meal, and I wanted to find a delicious option by reading user reviews. However, I found that there were too many fake or unreliable reviews, making it difficult to find truly tasty food. That's why I have an idea for developing a mobile application that allows nearby users to publicly share their experiences with disappointing food. This way, all users in the vicinity can access this information. My goal is to help people quickly find and order delicious meals. I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on this!

maybe go work for Yelp on a way to fix their review system to get rid of "fake" or "unreliable" comments?

(fwiw ... 'fake' is easier to detect than 'unreliable' ... but neither is "easy")

How do you plan to combat "fake or unreliable reviews"?

How do you distinguish from a "real or reliable" review (that is negative) vs a "fake or unreliable" one?

For example, I will down-review anything with hidden or unannounced pecans, almonds, and dates in it because they taste bad to me and I am allergic to them all

until you figure out some kind of Secret Sauce™ that solves that ... don't try to poorly reimplement Yelp (unless you want to learn - learning is great, and modeling on a known-working system is a great way to learn)

OK In fact, I want to make a website that can bring in income, but I have no new ideas

you need to have some hook that's gonna make your tiny project (because all solo projects are tiny until they're not) be different enough from Everybody Else™ that you can start to amass a critical mass of users around it

I've got all kinds of amazing ideas ... but none of them have the hook (or advertising the hook is too slow a process)

By all means, take on the $2 billion Yelp (and all the other products/services in the space ... Facebook, Google, etc) ...but it's not going to be easy

Thank you for your support, friend. This makes me feel very inspiring! The ideas that usually appear in my mind are scattered, and it seems that they are not the same project. I don't know whether to create it or not. I have a to-do list, and usually record some ideas I find, such as changing the background color of the website, adding a button, etc. But these are some very boring ideas. I'm short of some surprising ideas.

Also ... if you want to make this quasi-realtime, how do you plan to get "nearby users" to interrupt their meals to tell you how it was?
