Help: iTunes App Store Submission Delays
We have an iOS app that has been in the store for over a year. We have continuously been updating and improving it. In the latest version, we introduced in-app purchases. The App Team at Apple has had a lot of trouble testing it, due to not reading instructions carefully, but more particularly, they are very slow to respond to emails. When they ask a question, we respond within 5 minutes, and they then take at least 24hrs to respond.
We have submitted emails to the general contact form and had no response after nearly 24hrs.
The app has now been under review for over 2 weeks, including one rejection where we had to resubmit a binary.
My question is: Is this normal and what can I do to get them to test the app and approve it? Is there any way to contact a human at Apple?
