Ask HN: Have you noticed random accounts have started following you on Reddit?

Basically the title. I've had a Reddit account for >10 years effectively for lurking. I haven't made any comments or posts in the past 1.5 years. Despite this, I had ~10 accounts randomly start following me in the past month and a half. Wondering if this is part of some broader scheme to pump user numbers before the IPO, or if it's a one-off coincidence.
