Ask HN: Does HN have a succession plan?

So from what I understand, dang is kind of a benevolent god here. One problem common to political systems where single people hold power is succession. Does dang have a plan for whom to hand the reins down to, or will we just have to wait and see? I want to see this community continue into the medium future at least.

It is my understanding that Dang is employed at y combinator.

It's up to them to hire another person, so Dang can take a holiday.

But: what if they already did, and this person worked under Dang's account? And we just didn't notice it?

Maybe a "faceless" and hired hand is much better than someone's personal ego that gets in the way of a normal 9-5 job?

A succession plan would be nice but not essential as I have invested little except some theraputic time here.
