I didn't watch the video, but it's well known the forbes 30u30 is self nominating and not nearly as prestigious as many hype it up to be. Forbes has created great brand awareness, but to my knowledge it's generally not treated as that impressive.

But I'm not f30u30 so maybe I'm just a cranky old hack?

I watched it and learned a lot! Soo many of the recent alumni are in prison! I had no idea. It used to be good to be on that list but no more?

It's pretty well established that folks pay to get featured on that list.

Forbes is not exactly a reputable organization; it's the clickbait of finance. Take one look at their website and this will be quite apparent.
