The most astonishing thing to me about Battlebit is the fact that it supports 250+ players and runs on top of Unity. It also runs pretty damn well in my experience.

I was tripping really hard trying to get just 2 players to work reliably in a Unity MP FPS demo. I am not a game developer by trade, so that probably had most to do with it (clearly it's possible).

Does anyone know if the developers used some in-house netcode or if there is now some first party component that makes this possible? I would seriously consider making another pass at Unity if this type of multiplayer is actually accessible to an indie-scale, few-man team.
