Not totally related, but I definitely noticed Apple’s laptop speakers tend to sound ever so slightly better than other built-in speakers. I remember hearing about there being a patent causing this, but can’t find a source.

Neat capability. Pretty convenient if a little .ore expensive having a hardware solution to this problem.

I wonder if it has a temp sensor or not? Gotta wonder what happens when it's a real hot day out or worse, sitting in a baking car; does the speaker output get adjusted to a lower level in these cases, where there's less thermal headroom to use?
