I'm a huge http://neverssl.com/ fan FYI but that's for a specific purpose where you can't have https.

They try to give an unbiased and informed approach to providing the news. That's done by showing how the same story from as many news sites as possible. They then provide the leaning of said sites to allow you to decide for yourself how much to trust their reporting. It's a great system that allows one to tackle their biases head-on by seeing what their "side" is possibly leaving out of the story.
