Well, it's Hacker News and I expected some deep learning machinery when reading "rendered in the style", not just a guy with a piano.

Anyway, the appropriate term would be "arranged" (or even "composed") in this context. The pieces are not improvised, so the arrangements/compositions in the given style existed before the performance.
