What a long-winded way of saying car oriented infrastructure has destroyed our health.
Being completely sedentary and driving everywhere isn’t good for you? Who knew?

Admittedly, being able to better understand quantitatively has some value. There was a study not long ago showing that ‘active’ commuting (biking or walking) had a real benefit, because people did it every day, whether they felt like it or not.
