Ask HN: What ML/AI architechtures used in chemistry/biology, engineering?

Any papers? Like, what an ML used to determine the epigenetic clocks was. Or how is it used in electrical/mechanical/materials engineering. Or in small molecule therapeutics engineering and bioelectric reprogramming. Or in how to speed up clinical trials and generalize (via transfer learning) from mouse to humans?

There is some YC startup developing this, and another startup featured at Foresight Institute to speed up clinical trials with AI. I'd like to get familiar just with a general approach. Because I'm taking a Machine Learning with Python course on freecodecamp and got some ideas about AI/ML applications to small molecule design in cellular reprogramming.
