Were the protest blackouts on Reddit successful?

I'd say yes and no.

They didn't change Reddit's behavior in any way, shape, or form.

But I did close out an account I'd used there for ten years and have been actively seeking too expand my use of alternatives. I discover myself needing it less and less and alternatives replacing it more and more.

So I suppose it's all about your perspective.
