Yet Elon took @X from the guy who used it for 16 years without even blinking. It has certainly been less than a smooth transition fraught with absolutely random policy decisions.
Nobody is going to start calling it X. The company, maybe. But people will continue to refer to tweeting as tweeting and the platform as Twitter. I predict they'll backpedal within weeks.
I feel like twitter is going to be integrated into the X platform. Musk is a fan of WeChat, which serves as a platform for different modules of functionality, such as online chatting, e-shopping, news media etc. This idea of "everything in one" has been long rooted in his mind, purchasing Twitter is the initiation of realization of his version of WeChat.
It was rooted in his mind for 20 years, but he's done nothing about it. There's no X platform, and therefore Twitter is not being "integrated" into anything. All he's done so far is swap some logos and names.
I feel like Musk has brought chaos to Twitter
@Japan is the official Japan gov account.

And @XJapan is some account with unclear owner.

But X Japan is a music band in Japan going back to the 80s.

It's unclear what this submission is reporting therefore, whether it's factual, and what's with all the broken Twitter links lately in submissions.
