Isn't it more compelling rather than less that my actions back up my words? I previously lived in California!
After Brexit I wouldn‘t want to build a company in the UK. Numbers show that many people and companies think that way.

I think Brexit causes a lot of problems for the economy as a whole but less so for tech startups. The author is right that the visa system doesn't make it difficult to hire for high paid tech jobs and people as well as tech companies still want to come here.

Where I disagree with him is that "most things in the UK work relatively well". The NHS for instance is a major disaster zone. I would say there is a general sense of decline in the UK, but tech startups are an exception to that.
