Do you hire virtual assistants?

I recently learned of a job as a virtual assistant. Although not particularly wealthy and not relevant to me, it is still very interesting to me that such an industry exists.

Apparently, it involves outsourcing tasks and research.

Do you hire virtual assistants? If so, * What kinds of things do you entrust them with? * How much do you pay them per month?
