So they're working to make users aware of misleading ads, but they've dismantled efforts to make users aware of misleading tweets?

I don't know how this got to production. Advertisers won't like it and they absolutely need advertisers right now to keep the lights on (even shitty misleading advertisers). I wonder how long it will last before Musk kills it.

This has been happening for some months now, and I don't even know who to get mad at, or just keep laughing. Twitter prefers to let scammers buy ads as it needs every dollar, but is also letting Community Notes ruin their campaign. Meanwhile scammers keep buying ads, which means by the time the Notes show, they surely have positive ROI.

It's like watching a Nat Geo documentary about weird survival adaptations in the jungle, and I'm only missing Sir David Attenborough voice-over to explain the mechanics of this entire circus.
