I was in that position, and then one of the creators I watch on YT had a Nebula offer at the end of a video to get a year's subscription for about $30. For $2.50/mo, I figured it couldn't not be worth it.
Then I checked their T&Cs and privacy policy and was instantly sold.
Have no regrets about signing up. I only wish that there were more of my favourite creators from YT on Nebula.
