Am I missing something? The article doesn’t state that at all. The lab was used for creating covid 19 tests

Fun fact: the official list of US based BSL-4 labs is observably incomplete. I know this because there is one in a major American city that got delisted but still operates. Naturally I’m not going to name it because I believe the reasons for the obfuscation were sound public policy.
