Ask HN: Do you think there's a market for a survival LLM?

Do you think there's a market for a survival LLM? Think shipwrecked on an island, but you have a solar panel, this product and maybe an e-ink screen/keyboard where you can talk to a chatbot about how to survive.

What's the market size for shipwrecked people in 2023?
Preppers spent about 11 billion dollars last year.
How much of that went towards paying for software?
I was thinking hardware for this idea. Actually I was thinking a Lord of the Flies situation where they all had an LLM to talk to and it became an oracle of sorts. It's just an idea, I'm not throwing any capital towards it.
If civilization doesn't collapse it won't be very useful since most everything is in cell-range . Nevertheless, you could market it to the prepper community.
How to run it by just a solar cell? You're talking about LLM that needs token processing power. .. but you can do a survivalgotchi that teaches you how to survive.. add gamyfication and achievements in case of production .. something preselected doing ELIZA will work though
Yeah it's insanely impractical, but the question is whether or not it's worth it. As a thought experiment, I think it leads towards using LLMs as an interface/OS for fallout shelters. Survivalgotchi sounds cool too though.
You would be better off making a real hitch hikers guide to the galaxy manual with an LLM which has survival knowledge. Don’t panic.
