Ask HN: Anyone working on analysing cold cases with multimodal LLMs?

A lot of cold cases or open cases but old, get solved just because the police actually do their work 10-20-30 years later. Sometimes a new police chief or new district attorney etc. Anyone working on digging through old cases and finding clues that are actually in plain sight but lacking staffing?

Example; Gilgo beach murders for instance seems solvable from just reading the history. And they did.
