Ask HN: Need a DevOps Revolution, how to enforce code quality?

I’m in the midst of my firm’s DevOps Revolution in the year of our Lord 2023 (I know). While this is exciting, it is also quite fraught. Unlike The Phoenix Project, where the revolution was wrapped up in a tidy 42 days (or whatever), real life is a little messier. The big question I have here, is with a mix of SWE SREs and SysAdmin SREs, how can we enforce high quality code and high quality code reviews? Can or cannots? Linting? Where do we start? And how do we keep it going?
