I like the idea of a /now page, but it’s not for me, at least not in public.
I do something similar with journaling; I’m constantly journaling on a single note in the Apple Notes app. I consider it a sort of short-lived RAM for my life. Todos, thoughts, goals. I delete aggressively.
I use a private Trello board for longer-lives objectives and priorities to help keep me focused on 1yr+ long objectives.
Is it a true federated twitter:
- "favorite" or rss instead of "follow
- quote/link like any other dynamic page on the internet instead of retweets
- no timeline unless somebody wants to expose their blog this way
- no replies (comments are federated too)

Joking aside… how could this be improved? I don’t like that “status” is a closed thing (set in your IM/conferencing/collab client).
